We offer a monthly 75 minute structured journal club. Each fellow is assigned a type of study design or research methodology. The fellow selects a recent clinical research article that uses the methodology, and uses it as an example to teach about how to evaluate the internal and external validity of the article selected. Examples of methodologies include: cross-sectional study, case-control study, cohort study, randomized controlled trial, systematic review and meta-analysis, and prediction modeling.
