Andrea Wershof Schwartz is the Associate Program Director for Medical Education for the Harvard Medical School Multicampus Geriatric Medicine Fellowship, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Schwartz serves as the Site Director for VA Boston Healthcare for Ambulatory. In addition, Dr. Schwartz is a clinician educator in the VA’s New England GRECC (Geriatrics Research Education and Clinical Center), and serves as medical director of the VA Boston Geriatrics Consult Clinic, where she works with geriatrics fellows and interprofessional trainees. She directs the fellows’ medical education curriculum and co-directs the required longitudinal theme for medical students in Aging & where she works with geriatrics fellows and interprofessional trainees. She directs the fellows’ medical education curriculum and co-directs the required longitudinal theme for medical students in Aging & End of Life care at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Schwartz was the recipient of the 2018 American Geriatrics Society Outstanding Junior Clinician Educator Award.
